2300 Films was founded in 2009 by Matt Peterson ACS and Tina Brown. This creative Aussie duo have lived in and traveled to various cities across the world, and currently are based in New York.
Their work has been featured worldwide for a wide variety of companies and networks including Apple, Coca Cola, Gatorade, Red Bull, Reebok, Puma, Under Armour, Izod, NFL, NHL, MLB, MLS, Tour de France, IndyCar, Nascar, Super Bowl, NBC, Fox, ESPN, and CBS.
Currently they are working on numerous commercials, feature-length films and documentaries.

Matt Peterson, ACS is a multi Emmy Award-winning Director of Photography, Cinematographer, and twice winner of the prestigious Australian Cinematographers Society (ACS) award, the Golden Tripod. Known for his poetic coverage of extreme sports where he displays an innate ability to anticipate his subject’s next move, Peterson’s wealth of experience makes him one of the most sought-after cinematographers in the sports world. Peterson’s assignments have included the Dakar Rally, Olympics, US Open Golf, ASP World Surf Tour, Winter Extreme Games, and the Ironman World Championships in Hawaii.
The New York-based Australian has filmed in some of the most rugged conditions in the world – from Alaska's Yukon to the sweltering Sahara desert, and the Andes mountains to the dangerous waves of Teahupoo, Tahiti yet he is equally adept in the studio shooting commercials and promos for the Red Bull, Gatorade, Puma, NHL, IndyCar, and Tour de France to name but a few.
Balancing commercials with feature films, Peterson has deftly integrated his cinematic style with the emotional nuances of storytelling. As Director of Photography for the 2011 feature-length documentary Dear Mandela, Peterson’s work was described by Variety as "stirring...evocatively shot". He recently was Director of Photography for Participant Media’s Midsummer in Newtown. The feature-length documentary about the Sandy Hook tragedy premiered at the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival where it received runner-up for Audience Award. His latest feature length documentary, United Skates won the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival Audience Award and is set for release on HBO in early 2019.

Tina Brown is an Australian-born, New York-based filmmaker who has 20+ years experience in film, media and marketing. Graduating with a BA in Journalism and English, Brown devised film marketing and PR campaigns for Paramount, Universal, MGM, DreamWorks, Miramax and Village Roadshow.
Brown is currently touring film festivals with United Skates, her feature-length documentary debut as a director/producer. Set for release early 2019 on HBO, the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival Audience Award winner is executive produced by John Legend, and features interviews with Salt-N-Pepa, Naughty By Nature, World Class Wreckin’ Cru and Coolio. Brown co-produced the feature-length documentary Dear Mandela which was awarded the Grand Jury Prize at the 2012 Brooklyn Film Festival, and the Best South African Documentary at the 2011 Durban International Film Festival. Her films have received funding and support from Sundance Institute Documentary Fund, Film Independent, IFP, Fledgling Fund, Chicken & Egg Pictures, Threshold, Women in Film, New York State Council on the Arts, California Humanities, Southern Documentary Fund, Left Tilt Fund, Kickstarter, Dance Film Fund and the American Documentary Film Fund.
Before relocating to New York, Brown was the Editor and Senior Features Writer for a monthly magazine. She now travels the world as a Producer, Line Producer and Production Manager, to cover everything from Professional Bull Riding to World Extreme Cage Fighting and the Winter Olympics.
